Acogedor (“cozy” in Spanish), founded in 2017, is an intimate project space at the home of artist and adoptee Nicole Rademacher. Acogedor is an inclusive and supportive space that is particularly interested in collaborating with BIPOC, queer, disabled, female identifying, gender non-conforming, and the adoptee community.
Acogedor has shifted from a place to have critical conversations in an intimate space, to having intimate and critical dialogue through art and programming in the public sphere of online programming.
